Richard J Napier – Managing Director

Head of Family. Litigation, Wills & Probate, Commercial property

Educated at the University of Bristol. Richard has developed and enjoys specialising in family law practice. He has a determined commitment to achieving the best possible results for his clients using thorough analysis, preparation and presentation of the facts, with a commitment to meeting dates for the return of paperwork. He is known for his determined, approachable and pleasant manner with both clients and professionals whilst maintaining a professional standard which has been vital in dealing effectively with a diversity of people and issues.




Tim Napier – Partner
Commercial Property, Wills & Probate

Tim qualified as a solicitor in 1963 and has just achieved his 50 years in practice certificate from the SRA. He has a broad knowledge of many areas of law, however in the last ten years he has focused on wills, probate, trusts and commercial and residential conveyancing. He is ably assisted by his P.A. Julie Walsh and despite his advancing years still works full time.Tim enjoys spending time with his family and travelling around Europe looking at trains.




Adrian Albinson – Consultant

Commercial Property


Adrian has been with the firm many years and is our supervising solicitor for conveyancing. Outside of work, Adrian can be found working on his garden or socialising with friends and family.







Graham A Wright – Consultant

Commercial Property & Litigation


Graham studied at the University of Oxford and is a consultant solicitor, specialising in commercial property and litigation. Outside of the office, he is a local councillor and school governor.






Jonathan Jacobs

Head of Healthcare Law

Jonathan is a commercial lawyer and litigator with expertise in the healthcare sector in particular, medical and dental.

He advises independent dental practitioners and corporate dental organisations across England and Wales on the acquisition and disposal of NHS and private practices, as well as dealing with Partnership Agreements, Expense Sharing Arrangements, Associate Agreements and Employment Contracts.

He also advise on issues with NHS England and the Care Quality Commission.

The other part of my practice is dealing with dispute resolution for dentists and doctors, whether this be by way of mediation or litigation.

He is client focused and believes that the best way to assist his clients is by meeting them at the initial stages of a matter and answering any questions that may arise at the outset. His goal is to help his clients achieve the best solution with as little “discomfort and pain” as possible.

He is the Legal Adviser to Dental Fusion, a portal for advice to dental practitioners and also the Chair of the Greater Manchester Dental Business Advisers. This is a group of professional advising on legal, accounting , financial and banking matters for the dental profession.

Valerie Watson – Senior Legal Accounts Manager

Valerie (Val) has been working in legal accounts since 1973. She has worked at numerous large city law firms providing expert accounts management. Val has been working for Albinson Napier for 30 years and continues to provide a highly competent service in all areas of accounts.

In her spare time Val enjoys spending time with her young grandchildren.

Barbara Barnett – Conveyancing Manager

Residential Conveyancing


Barbara first joined the firm in 1977 as secretary to Adrian Albinson and after having children she came back to us in 1983 as our Conveyancing Manager. Barbara heads up a busy conveyancing department and her reputation brings the firm many repeat customers.

Barbara has two grown up children and four small grandchildren who keep her very busy outside of work.






Michelle Reilly – PA to A Albinson & G A Wright


Michelle Reilly has been with the firm for 28 years and is Adrian’s & Graham’s PA/secretary assisting with the day to day running of commercial property department and more recently some litigation matters.









Julie Walsh – PA to Tim Napier


Julie has been with Albinson Napier for 38 years having worked in all departments but for the last 20 years she has been assisting Tim Napier.

She enjoys spending time with family and friends and is a keen Liverpool F.C support and attends matches whenever she can!







Sarah Barlow – PA to Barbara Barnett


Sarah joined Albinson Napier & Co. in 2002 as a Receptionist/Junior having progressed to the role of PA to Head of Litigation. Having realised her passion lay elsewhere, Sarah is now part of our Residential Conveyancing Department assisting Barbara. Sarah is also studying at the Open University for a degree in history and English Lit. In her spare time she enjoys socialising, the outdoors and is a bookworm and petrolhead.






Kristina Wills – Family Law Paralegal


Kristina has worked for Albinson Napier for 9 years. Kristina takes a keen interest in Family Law and is currently in her final year of studying a part-time law degree with a view to one day practising in this area of law.

In her spare time Kristina enjoys horse-riding and yoga.







Colin Hornby – Family Law Assistant/ PA to Richard J Napier


Colin started with the firm in July 2012 as an Administrator/Receptionist. He came from another firm of solicitors in Warrington who specialised in debt recovery. Colin’s eagerness to learn and adapt was noted early on and in 2013 was rewarded with a position in the Family Law team.

He studies Part-Time Law at the Open University.

In his spare time Colin competes as a sprinter for Sale Harriers Manchester and enjoys spending time with his small family.




Eizabeth Crozier – Receptionist


Elizabeth joined Albinson Napier in 2013 working 1 day a week as a volunteer to gain some work experience. Upon completion she was offered a role as a receptionist and is now studying towards a level 3 in Business Administration.
